    Had you kept the bottom-right cell blank, it would mean: 3rd row - 3rd column - 3rd region - 3rd '3' :-)

      Good observation. Here I blame my natural inclination to go for symmetry. Things would have been so much easier with a 1x1 sudoku.

      Now trying to make the number of comments a multiple of 3, to save what can be...
